Direwild Figures

These are the figures I sculpted for a great board game, a cooperative deckbuilding dungeon crawl, called Direwild. I got involved in the project because the creator had a great looking game and just happened to also be a nice human living in the same city as me. The Kickstarter is over, but you can still buy-in and get this great game with or without the figures: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1073724346/direwild-a-cooperative-deckbuilding-dungeon-crawl.

This project was a much needed departure from the material that I normally work from. In that sense, it was definitely outside of my comfort zone and took some adjusting to get the style right. Or close to it. I still don't think that I nailed the intended style, with the later figures being better than the early ones. If I did the whole thing again from scratch, it'd be much better. A special thanks to Andrew Cothill for stepping up and helping me out when I fell behind. I'd still be sculpting this if it weren't for that guy.
